JGMB Flower Magazine Showhouse 202510127 1

Each year, the FLOWER Magazine Showhouse brings together some of the most respected names in design to create a one-of-a-kind home that blends architecture, interiors, and floral artistry. For the 2025 FLOWER Magazine Showhouse in Nashville, that vision came to life inside a stunning Belle Meade estate—transformed room by room by nationally recognized designers and skilled local craftspeople.

We were honored that Harpeth Painting played a hands-on role in bringing this showhouse to life. From detailed wallpaper installations to a bold, high-impact painted feature room, our team worked closely with designers to help execute their creative visions at the highest level.

A Nashville Showhouse with National Design Talent

The 2025 FLOWER Magazine Showhouse showcased a beautifully renovated estate set on expansive grounds in Nashville’s historic Belle Meade area. With more than 20,000 square feet of living space, the home served as a canvas for over 20 interior designers, each interpreting the space through their own lens.

Design leadership included Honorary Chair Alexa Hampton and Design Chair Corey Damen Jenkins, along with an impressive roster of designers and floral artists. The result was a curated experience that balanced timeless Southern elegance with bold, contemporary moments.

Collaborating with Designers Behind the Scenes

Showhouses are unique projects. Tight timelines, evolving designs, and exacting standards mean every detail must be executed flawlessly. Throughout the project, our team worked directly with multiple designers, adapting to different styles, materials, and installation requirements from room to room.

Clear communication, careful planning, and respect for each designer’s creative intent were essential. Whether it was aligning patterns, managing specialty materials, or coordinating around other trades, collaboration was at the heart of our role in the home.

Wallpaper Installation: Precision in Every Detail

Wallpaper played a major role throughout the showhouse, adding texture, movement, and personality to many of the interiors. Harpeth Painting was responsible for installing wallpaper in several rooms, each with its own challenges and design intent.

From bold patterns to more subtle, layered designs, every installation required meticulous prep and precise execution. Pattern matching, seam alignment, and surface preparation were critical to achieving the seamless look designers expect in a national-level showhouse. These are the kinds of details that often go unnoticed when done correctly, but make all the difference in the finished space.

The Stripe Room: A Bold Painted Showcase

One of our most exciting contributions was the striped feature room, which became a standout moment in the showhouse. While wallpaper made a strong statement throughout the home, this room relied entirely on paint to create its impact.

Perfectly executed stripes require exact measurements, steady hands, and patience. Every line had to be crisp, consistent, and balanced within the space. This room showcased how paint can be just as dramatic and design-forward as any wall covering.

Seeing the finished stripe room come together was a proud moment for our team and a true example of what thoughtful craftsmanship can achieve.
